CM3 Consulting and the University Of Pittsburgh partner on Brain Imaging Study

Pittsburgh, PA - July, 2004 - CM3 Consulting has commenced a research project with Dr. Nicolaas Bohnen, MD, PhD of the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Neurology. Our consultants, lead by Chief Operating Officer, Scott Ziolko, are assisting Dr. Bohnen and his researchers in an evaluation of Leukoaraiosis using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans of patients with Parkinson’s disease. CM3 Consulting’s role in the National Institute of Health funded study will encompass the post-processing of MRI scans and relating the results to measurements of cognitive functioning.

“We are excited to share our expertise with the high caliber of clinicians and researchers at the University of Pittsburgh,” said Ziolko. “In developing novel, statistically robust, and automated analysis procedures we will help these clinicians gather more detailed and reliable information from their existing data. In doing so we will be able to further enhance their position as a leader in the care of Parkinson’s patients.”

CM3 Consulting draws upon its consultants' broad skills and experience to deliver solutions that directly match their clients' needs. The members of the CM3 Consulting team have expert knowledge and degrees ranging from Software Engineering to Business Administration and Information Systems to Statistics.
